Light and dark are the perfect match. I love this photograph it is one of my favourites. It was a perfect night for photography.
I added the phone box for this weeks theme of rare because it is not often that you see a phone box being used as a community library.
I added the greenhouse from our school as it is rare that you would see a greenhouse made from recycled bottles.
Enjoy and thanks for looking.
I chose these for this week because of the narrow theme. The bridge is taken in a branch line railway station and the the alleyway picture was taken in Scunthorpe. I like them both equally but the alleyway was very dark and creepy when I was there.

The chair in this picture makes it work for me. My friend spotted it when we were walking past and I agreed that it looked great. The lone chair gives this a very eerie feel. It is the cherry on top in this shot.
This is the top deck of our completed bus project. I really love the lights in this shot. I hope you like it and I thought it may be interesting to compare it with the stripped out shot of the upper deck.

The theme this week has been about what is above us. These picture beneath the motorway was taken because I thought the concrete structure of the M1 motorway was very stark and I liked the light.
The second picture was taken because it is eerie and it is the upper deck of an old double decker bus that we have renovated at school. I thought about the tens of thousands of people that have travelled and chatted on the bus. I was alone and it was silent but very peaceful. The future of the bus is now secure and it will be used to teach children about blogging and a wide range of other subjects.

I chose these pictures because the land and sea are in opposition and I chose the picture of the wooden hut because of the opposing forces of darkness and light. Feel free to comment with thoughts or advice. Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog.
